Using Storybook character costumes to your programming schedule is a great way to promote a storytime, summer reading program or a library event such as National Library Week.  Costumes are generally free but you will be required to pay for shipping costs to the library which can run as much as $150.  There are lots of choices for characters although you may have to contact several publishers.  Start by contacting Costume Specialist  at (614) 464-2145 or 1-800-596-9357 to reserve costumes.
