If you are looking to increase the number of people coming into the library, you might want to consider adding or beefing up your programming schedule.  Library programs for children range from storytimes and storytelling to puppets to fingerplays to crafts and showing professional entertainers.

AALS offers storytime kits to augment your storytimes.  You can find the list of kits here.  Most kits feature a puppet, video, audio, 15-20 books and a resource page with fingerplays, rhymes and other activies.  We also offer flannel board kits and die cuts.

If you need books on children’s programming, please call the AALS Office at 210/207-2609.  We have plenty of titles on each aspect of children’s services.
